i don't really know if this scene has a name? i'll just call it 'i love your neck'-scene. henry (as casually as ever) enters the room, anne is (coincidentally?) in the center of the room, curtseying as he approaches her. she has a little smile on her face (!and henry notices' that), he addresses her with 'sweet anne' and he reaches out his hand for her in order to invite her to stand.

(still smiling!) anne gets pulled closer and they're about to express their affection for each other (!in front of the whole court), when suddenly catherine enters the room; anne all shocked, wants to leave the room, BUT !henry exclaiming 'NO', not wanting anne to leave !!!despite catherine's presence + ignoring her entirely (basically not acknowledging her at all)!!!

anne putting on that 'are you for fucking real?'-face, but henry soothes her, telling he will dine with her father and uncle, telling her that whenever he is with them, he is also 'close to her' (kk just let me live). anne all on cloud 9, gasping just a tiny bit (!heart-eyes). henry devoting himself to her, claiming to be her sole and loving servant and handing out a bag (?) to her, anne, clutching the bag in her hands (it's later to the audience revealed, that there's a huge ass expensive necklace in there).

He appreciates her unbearable beauty by gently stroking her cheek (huge heart eyes), moving down to her neck, stating the infamous line 'your neck. i love your neck', which is not only ironically but also pretty unfortunate, henry :/// however, !her !reaction !to !this (<33333333), still on cloud 9, anne gasps and basically !can't !stop !gazing !at !henry !so !does !he. he tries to to get back to his work, !BUT HE IS STILL GAZING AT HER, NOT LEAVING HER EYES. However, he manages to leave, anne in her position, still on cloud 9, not believing what just happened (<333)

this is 100 % my favorite anne x henry scene, because it really REACHES OUT TO ME. It really does, it's so heart-warming and loving, really really touching my soul, i just love they're basically on cloud 9, only their presence is what matters - it's just hitting me very very hard.
